 Thanksgiving
November 2016 - This was our third Thanksgiving
on Tanegashima, and this time with a new addition, our baby Lael.
Temperatures cooled off quite a bit but continue to be much warmer than in
previous years.
This month we watched another rocket launch, went to a hometown fair, and spent
some time at the Tanegashima Space Center.

November 2, 2016 - Today we went to see another
rocket launch at Hase Park. This was actually the first time for little Lael,
who handled in style....no crying at all, even with all of the noise.

Fair
November 3, 2016 - This is an annual event in our
town. Basically everybody shows up for this. Many shows and tons of food. This
year they had this huge tuna used for a weight guessing contest. Shai was one of
the closest and scored a huge bag of fish which we happily ate as sashimi.

Small Party
November 15, 2016 - Tonight we made a party with
only a few of the neighbors, including the cute obaachan, the cute girlfriend,
and the perfect human. lol.

Possibly interested in the Porter Lane property but my condo would need to sell
for enough to cover the purchase price. At $299,000 it is most likely to

Center Picnic
November 16, 2016 - Today was another incredibly
gorgeous day on the island. We decided to go to the Tanegashima Space Center for
a nice picnic. Lael played with the grass and Me and Akiko played football,
frisbee, and soccer with Shai.

November 23, 2016 - We spent another really nice
Thanksgiving on the island again. This year we got a turkey online, as usual,
along with a couple of nice bottles of wine and some apple non alcohol champagne
for Shai. Akiko went all out and made all the traditional foods and a couple of
pies.
